What is a switch?
Not Nintendo — a different kind of switch.
A switch is a single button — physical or on-screen — that someone uses as their only way to interact with a computer. For many people with physical disabilities, it's the only input they have access to. A large press button mounted to a wheelchair, a sip-and-puff device, or just the spacebar — all of these are switches. SwitchedGames is built so anyone using one can play real, engaging games fully and independently.

Have a game idea, development skills, art, sound, or switch-access testing experience? Start with a collaboration proposal. Together, we can shape, build, and test a game for the NARBE collection.
Propose a CollaborationEvery game must support independent play with one or two switches, including menus, pause, settings, and exit. See the developer guide for our development requirements. We review shared levels before adding them. New games are developed through agreed collaborations and enter the collection after accessibility testing with switch users and a NARBE quality review. Collaborators are credited; sending a proposal does not guarantee publication.

Through our Adaptive Switch Kit Program, NARBE Foundation provides free 2-button switch kits to individuals and families who need them. The program is funded entirely by our community and partners. Each kit is everything you need to start playing immediately — no tech knowledge required.
